Under the Child Care Act 1991 and Early Years Services Regulations 2016, in the assigned operational area of County Waterford and South Kilkenny. Prepare reports in respect of these services suitable for publication (118 services in total).
The Investigation of complaints received in regard to any Early Years Services in the assigned operational area of County Waterford or South Kilkenny.
Provide advice and information to early years service providers,
Provide advice and information on Early Years Services to members of the public, Tusla staff, and external agencies.
A range of full-time educational and training courses are available to adults who are aged 21 years or over and in receipt of eligible Social Welfare payments.

Waterford Training Centre offer a variety of training courses delivered in purpose built training centres by our experienced team of staff, who provide the very highest standard of training under the national government Department of Education and Skills brand ‘ETB’, The Education and Training Board.
The courses are suitable for people entering the workforce for the first time, early school leavers, people with disabilities, those wishing to change careers and looking to refresh their knowledge or gain new skills.
Provide education and vocational guidance to early school leavers in order to improve future employment and training prospects in a caring, effective and safe environment where education can take place.

Youthreach Subla Centre is intended for young people who are aged between 15 and 20 years, have left the mainstream school system, are not catered for within other existing educational or training provision, and have not secured full-time employment.
Youthreach Subla is an integrated holistic education and support network for early school leavers. It maintains strong links with the Traveller Community.
Youthreach Tramore offers second chance education and training to 16-20 year olds. It is aimed at early school leavers and is designed to give young people the opportunity to gain confidence and engage in the formal certification process in an ‘out-of-school’ setting.
