The aim of the befriending service is to foster independence, empowerment and reduce social isolation for people with mental health difficulties/issues. The Befriending is a time limited relationship between a volunteer and a Befriended. The hope is to enable a person widen their social network, increase independence and make informed decisions enabling better control of their day to day living and achieve goals they have identified.

Access To Services: | Befriending is available through the adult mental health service. Referrals need to come through the multi-disciplinary team meeting. |
