HSCL is a statutory education service. It is a core part of DEIS and is based in schools. Its primary focus is educational welfare, with a focus on enabling and empowering families to support their children in education, to ensure improved outcomes with regard to attendance participation and retention.

MAD55/Ballybeg Community Education Project is community based after school hours education support project working in partnership with families, young people, the community and schools.
